Australia filmfest nominates Iran short film

‘3-letter word’ is jury-nominated by Auburn int’l filmfest

‘3-letter word’ has been shortlisted at the 20th Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in Sydney, Australia.

The silent short film, directed by Iranian 18-year-old Saleh Kashefi, was nominated for the ‘‘best Short Film by Young Adults’ competition section of the gala.

The festival accepts short and feature lengths films made by children, young adults and adults whose works are for or about children and youth.

Since 1998, it has annually screened films from 70 countries on the average.

The different sections of the event include, ‘Tadgell's Bluebell Award’, ‘best film made by children’ (6-14 years old), ‘best film made by young adults’ (15-22 years old), ‘Tadgell's Bluebell Honor Award’, ‘best film made by adults about or for children’, ‘best film made by adults about or for youth, Audience Choice Award’, ‘best feature made by adults about or for children’, and ‘best feature made by adults about or for youth’.

The 20th Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults is slated for September 18-22, 2017 in the Australian capital of Sydney and some neighboring cities.
